Every 4th Sunday of the month- Desert Dachshund Meetup
Meet fellow Dachshunds and Dachshund Owners near you! Come to a local Dachshund Meetup to let the dogs romp and play and make new friends as well as meet with other owners. Longhaired, Smooth or Wirehaired; miniature or full-sized, all breeds of Dachshunds and people are welcome!

October 2009:
Humane Society of Southern Arizona Howl-o-ween pet costume contest. Now thru October 31st 2009.
For a $5 entry fee, email them a photo of your pet (cat, dog, gerbil, snake whatever!) in their Halloween costume.  Photos will be posted on their website: HSSAZ.org

October 20, 2009- Petsmart Costume Contest 6:45pm
Go to your local Petsmart with your pet dressed up for halloween to win the Best Costume Contest!

February 20, 2010- Arizona Animal Fair
The Arizona Animal Fair is a festival celebrating animals! It is the largest of its kind in Arizona and one of the largest in the Southwest. The fair features non-stop demonstrations and entertainment such as professional Frisbee teams, miniature horses, canine flyball & agility, search and rescue dogs, training demos, police K-9s and therapy dogs and more.
